🌸 Our Story

In February 2004, a vision was revealed to CEO and Founder Lady Alvergia Barry — a surreal celebration of royalty and unity, where women from all walks of life bonded joyfully in sisterhood. This life-changing moment marked the beginning of a movement destined to uplift generations.

By April 2005, that vision became reality. A notable sisterhood was birthed, rooted in compassion, resilience, and the belief that “a changed mindset is the best mindset.” Women who had overcome trauma and adversity pledged to stand in the gap for girls, teens, and ladies, guiding them with love, leadership, and light.

Together with her sister Wanda, Alvergia nurtured this vision into a living legacy. Their shared commitment ensured that every woman’s testimony became the pillar, foundation, and rock needed to change the world — one sister at a time.

Women could rise up, becoming compelling lights and resounding voices, while embodying the significance of resilience, worth, and confidence.

And so, Sisters Inspiring Sisters, Inc. was born — Rooted in Sisterhood, Rising in Strength — a movement dedicated to impacting lives, building leaders, and creating a legacy of empowerment for generations to come.
